When you think of BRITNEY SPEARS and PARIS HILTON, comparisons to BARACK OBAMA don't usually come to mind. But a new TV ad from Senator JOHN MCCAIN's presidential campaign, currently airing in 11 states, compares the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee to Brit and Paris, concluding that Senator Obama is, quote, "the biggest celebrity in the world." In comparing the Illinois senator to the two tabloid darlings, the ad suggests that Obama is an over-hyped candidate who isn't qualified to serve as the next U.S. president. For the record, Obama stated at a campaign stop in Missouri yesterday that he's never met Hilton. Much like Obama, a spokesman for Hilton doesn't care much for the ad, saying, quote, "Miss Hilton was neither asked, nor did she give permission, for the use of her likeness in the ad, and has no further comment." KEN BAKER, executive news editor for the E! channel, says the ad is tantamount to a smear campaign. He says it tries to, quote, "associate Obama with these two celebrities who really have no credibility at all, even in the celebrity world."
**HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE BRITNEY AND PARIS WHEN JUST COMPARING YOU TO THEM IS CONSIDERED A "SMEAR CAMPAIGN"!!!!
