Quick -- to the dance floor! Today's New York Post reports 80-year-old actor ADAM WEST, who played the Caped Crusader on the 1960s TV series Batman, is in the running to appear as a contestant on the next season of Dancing with the Stars. A source tells the Post, quote, "Adam is in outstanding shape. He works out an hour a day and walks with his big dog on his farm in Sun Valley, Idaho." A rep for West, meanwhile, said his client is, quote, "not definite yet, but is one of the people they are seriously looking at."
We'll learn if West's Bat-phone did indeed get a call from ABC when the contestants for the new season of Dancing with the Stars are announced August 25th.

DANE COOK isn't too impressed with the marketing campaign for his new movie, My Best Friend's Girl. He's posted on the Internet a laundry list of problems he sees in the movie's promotional poster, which features Cook and co-stars KATE HUDSON and JASON BIGGS.
On his MySpace blog, Cook complains the poster is, quote, "boring/odd" and that it appears as if he's wearing lipstick. He also writes, quote, "The left side of my face seems to be melting off of my skull." While he prefaces all of this by saying the movie is his funniest to date, he adds that the poster sends "the wrong message" to audiences.
