The London Telegraph reports that studio bosses have set their sights on a JOHNNY DEPP to play the Riddler in the next Batmanmovie, with PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN as the Penguin. If that's not enough, ANGELINA JOLIE is rumored to be up for Catwoman. The Dark Knight continues as the number one movie in America, with over $300 million in gross revenues so far.

Whatever his relationship with MADONNA may have been, baseball star ALEX RODRIGUEZ seems to share her religious beliefs. According to MSNBC's The Scoop, he's been "assigned" to Madonna's Kabbalah advisor, RABBI EITAN YARDENI. A source says, quote, "When there's trouble with Madonna, when she needs help with a decision, [Yardeni] is dispatched...The same will go for A-Rod."
