TONY ROMO is focused on opposing defenses, not CARRIE UNDERWOOD. A source close to the Dallas Cowboys quarterback says he, quote, "is not calling Carrie," even though the country star recently told Allure magazine she's been dodging calls from him. Romo, of course, is currently linked to JESSICA SIMPSON. Underwood maintains she and Romo were never a couple, but they did bond because they're both small-town people who have become famous.

DONALD TRUMP has come to ED MCMAHON's rescue. The Donald said yesterday he will buy the former Tonight Show sidekick's Beverly Hills home, which had been facing foreclosure, and lease it to the 85-year-old McMahon. Trump apparently made this decision out of the goodness of his heart, because he says he doesn't know McMahon personally. Trump tells the Los Angeles Times it would, quote, "be an honor" to assist the financially-strapped McMahon.
