Will MARIAH CAREY get married this weekend -- again? She and NICK CANNON tied the knot in April in the Bahamas, but only a few close friends attended the ceremony. Now, New York Newsday reports that Mariah and Nick will throw a big wedding reception this Sunday at the Long Island, New York estate of Mariah's record company head, L.A. REID. Having her reception in Long Island would be a homecoming for Mariah, who was born there. Reps for the couple could not be reached for comment.

There's always room for robbery. A Charleston, West Virginia, man has confessed to trying to rob a video store Monday with an empty Jell-O box. Forty-three-year-old Paul Parrish II tried to knock over the Movie Gallery when he walked into the store, put the empty box on the counter and told an employee there was a bomb inside. He ordered the clerk on duty to give him money or else he wound detonate the bomb from a remote location, but the employee refused. Parrish then left. Cops found and arrested him Wednesday.
